Team Nova Scotia participates in the first-ever Skills Canada Virtual National Competition

Unlike previous years where all competitors in all contest areas came together under one roof, Skills /Compétences Canada hosted their premier national multi-contest area competition event entirely online. Dubbed the: Skills Canada Virtual National Competition (SCVNC), this massive online event took place over the week of May 24th – 28th, drawing in the best competition from across the country, and finally culminated with the SCVNC Closing Ceremonies during the evening of Tuesday June 15th.

Eight of Nova Scotia’s secondary and post-secondary students competed virtually in technology and employability skill areas with hopes of being awarded as the national champion in their respective fields.
